The Leadership Program for East German opportunity providers

It’s about

The Kinnings Academy invites young people with responsibility between the ages of 18 and 35 to take their leadership skills to a new level. We deliberately target young talents from all areas: Education, entrepreneurship, politics and administration, faith communities and civil society. We are looking for like-minded people full of drive: curious, passionate, collaborative and optimistic.

What we offer

A year that changes everything. Together with around 30 opportunity providers, you will undergo leadership training at the highest international level, travel to other European countries and surpass yourself in virtual coaching sessions. You will develop skills that are essential for effective action: Confident leadership, problem-solving skills and a convincing presence.

A network that opens doors. We bring you into contact with people who will noticeably advance you and your work: as mentors, sponsors and role models. And with other talents who are facing similar challenges and want to tackle them together.

An arena for constructive discourse. Different perspectives offer the opportunity to better understand complex interrelationships and achieve more together. That is why we are looking for people with diverse biographies for the Kinnings Academy. Together with you, we want to create spaces of experience in which we can meet honestly, wrestle with each other for solutions and at the same time have a good time together. Because even when the situation is serious, the fun must not fall by the wayside.

What’s also important

The Kinnings Academy is brand new. We have had many conversations with opportunity providers in Eastern Germany and have strong hypotheses about what makes a difference for our participants. However, we explicitly invite you to not “just” participate in the program, but to see yourself as a co-creator and help shape the program. To this end, we will regularly ask you for detailed feedback and further ideas on the existing offers.
