Amani and Ha Thu are now a part of Kinnings!

Kinnings News · 17. April 2024

Our team has grown by two more personalities! We are happy to welcome Amani Al-Addous and Ha Thu Atticos Nguyen to our team. Both have already gained a wide range of experience in civil society engagement:

Amani is a program manager at Kinnings. She lives in Leipzig and can primarily be found in the Erfurt office. She already recognized this as a teenager: There is a lot of strength in bringing people together. She does this primarily in the areas of educational work critical of racism, dialog projects around justice and in intersection with health. Today, she has a degree in human medicine and is passionate about youth work.

“[…] promote what is important: empowering young people and helping them with their interests and concerns to get the opportunities they deserve. “Amani Al-Addous

Ha Thu supports Kinnings as a project assistant and has a focus on communication. She was already able to combine the two topics that she is still passionate about today in the Berlin State Students’ Committee: working with young people and public relations. “There are many good projects in civil society, but they need good communication in order to develop their full potential.”

She has made East Germany her home and now lives in Potsdam. The 18-year-old was Berlin’s state student representative and is now involved in the Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW).

“Young people are the future of our society and there is no other way we can create as much impact as by supporting the younger generations” Ha Thu Atticos NguyenBoth are alumna of the START Foundation, which supports young people with a migration background and exceptional social commitment.

At the same time, they share the Kinnings spirit and want to support young people.
